Raw MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) is also called plain/unfinished MDF board. It is manufactured by breaking wood residues into wood fibers, mixing with synthetic resin adhesives, then pressing under high temperature and high pressure. Without any surface veneer, melamine paper or paint, the board keeps the original smooth fiber surface. It is the basic substrate widely used for further surface treatment.

Standard Raw MDF (Natural beige core) General-purpose substrate for furniture, door panels and wall panels in dry indoor environments. Without moisture-proof or flame retardant additives.

Green Core HMR / MR MDF (Moisture Resistant MDF) Special moisture-resistant resin additives are added during production, with green pigment mixed into the core for easy identification. It features low thickness swelling rate, stable performance under high humidity conditions, ideal for kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities and balcony furniture. Important note: It is moisture-resistant, NOT waterproof. Do not immerse in water for long periods.

Red Core FR MDF (Flame Retardant MDF) Formulated with flame retardant agents, red color core for identification. It slows flame spread and reduces smoke generation, widely used for commercial projects such as hotels, shopping malls. Important note: It is flame retardant, NOT fireproof. It cannot achieve non-combustible performance.

Uniform internal fiber structure, flat and smooth surface, stable dimension, less warping.

Excellent workability: easy cutting, drilling, edge banding, milling, carving and profiling.

Consistent density, neat cutting edges with little chipping, suitable for deep processing.

Multiple formaldehyde emission grades available: E1, E0.

Flexible for secondary processing: veneering, melamine laminating, painting, spraying, foil wrapping.

Applications

As substrate for melamine faced panels, veneered furniture boards, painted cabinets, door skins, wall panels, packaging, craftwork, decorative mouldings, furniture components.

Reminder

Raw MDF needs surface finishing before final use. Ordinary raw MDF is not suitable for long-term humid environment; choose HMR raw MDF if moisture resistance is required.
