On the morning of May 6th, the outbound report meeting of the postdoctoral research workstation of Xingang Group was grandly held. Li Wanzhao, a postdoctoral fellow jointly trained by Xingang Group and Nanjing Forestry University, presented a project report.

The meeting was chaired by Professor Ye Kelin, Chief Scientist of the National Wood and Bamboo Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, Researcher at the Wood Industry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, Professor Xu Xinwu, Vice President of Nanjing Forestry University, Researcher Duan Xinfang at the Wood Industry Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Forestry, Professor Mei Changtong, Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Nanjing Forestry University, and Professor Huanghe Lang from Nanjing Forestry University as members of the evaluation expert group.

Wei Xiaoxin, Chairman and Postdoctoral Collaborator of Xingang Group, warmly welcomed the participation of the expert group in his speech and introduced the profound relationship between Xingang Group and Nanjing Forestry University. At the same time, we fully acknowledge Dr. Li Wanzhao's work and scientific research achievements during his time at the station.
Dr. Li Wanzhao has always treated scientific research with a rigorous attitude, striving for excellence in scientific research and applying practical experience, achieving fruitful research results. During the station, I presided over one sub project of the National 14th Five Year Plan for Research and Development, participated in one major scientific and technological innovation project in Shandong Province, published 10 academic papers (6 SCL papers), obtained 2 authorized invention patents, and trained 2 master's students.

During the defense, Dr. Li Wanzhao made a detailed report on the topic of the research on the mechanism of the change of moisture on the mechanical behavior of oriented particle board, including the correlation mechanism between the compressive performance of oriented particle board and its internal structure, the impact of water absorption and drainage cycles on the compressive performance of oriented particle board, the impact of moisture adsorption/desorption on the fatigue deflection of oriented particle board, and the impact of environmental humidity on the bending fatigue performance of oriented particle board.
After evaluation and evaluation, the expert group fully affirmed Dr. Li Wanzhao's topic selection and unanimously believed that Dr. Li Wanzhao's research direction belongs to the key field of forestry engineering, and his research work has strong innovation. This topic explored the application range of oriented particle board LVL in high humidity environment, and provided theoretical support for improving the physical and mechanical properties of oriented particle board and expanding the application range of oriented particle board in high humidity environment. The research results can explain the influence mechanism of moisture on the internal structure and mechanical properties of oriented particle board, tamp the theoretical basis for understanding the mechanical properties of oriented particle board under outdoor conditions, and provide technical support for developing water resistant oriented particle board products.
